Who we are
Larkspur Editions is a trading name of Graham Tizzard, a sole trader based in the UK ("we", "us"). We're the data controller for the personal data described below. Contact: hello@steadykeel.co.uk, or write to 4 Balister Drive, Hartford, CW8 1TX.
What we collect
- When you buy through Etsy: your name, email address and order details, which Etsy passes to us so we can fulfil and support your order. Etsy processes your payment; we never see your card details.
- Anything you send us when you contact us for help.
We need your name and email address to fulfil an order; without them we can't.
Site analytics
This site uses no cookies and puts nothing on your device. We keep aggregate counts only: page views per page per day, which kind of site sent you here (Pinterest, Google, Etsy, direct or other), and how many times each "Buy on Etsy" button is clicked. Those buttons pass briefly through our own site so we can count the click, then take you straight to the listing on Etsy. We don't store your IP address, your browser or device details, or the full address of the page that referred you, and the counts can't be linked back to any visitor.
Our web host, Cloudflare, has to process your IP address and the technical details your browser sends in order to deliver pages and protect the site. It keeps them only in short-lived service logs, and we don't copy them into our own records. Once you're on Etsy, Etsy's own privacy policy applies.
Why, and the legal basis
- To fulfil your order and provide customer support — contract.
- To keep tax and accounting records — legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud and keep the shop secure — legitimate interests.
- To count page views and Etsy clicks in aggregate, and to deliver and secure this site (via our host, Cloudflare): legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
- Etsy, where our downloads are sold and paid for, under Etsy's own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website, on our behalf under data-processing terms.
Some of these providers store or process data outside the UK (for example in the US). Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Order records: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, for HMRC purposes.
- Support messages: up to 2 years after our last exchange, unless we need them for an open claim.
We don't make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you; to restrict or object to how we use it; and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO, ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113) if you think we've got it wrong. Contact us first and we'll put it right where we can.
